Book Review: 3 in 1 Collection Large Print Word Search Puzzles For Adults by Hazel Wood

I have reviewed Hazel Wood’s word search books before, they never disappoint. The newest book in the collection is no different!

I have to say it hits that sweet spot between relaxing downtime and a real brain workout. What I love most is how it’s broken down into easy, medium, and hard puzzles.

The easy ones are perfect for when I just want something light and quick. They are great for a morning coffee or a mental break between tasks. The medium puzzles add a little more challenge, enough to keep me engaged without being overwhelming. And the hard ones? Those are where the real fun begins. They take focus and patience, but it feels so rewarding to finish one.

Another huge plus is how travel-friendly the book is. I’ve taken it on an airplane. I’ve tucked it into my backpack and purse. I’ve kept it in my car for those moments when I just need something to do. It has sparked conversations with fellow puzzle lovers “in the wild,” which makes it even more fun to carry around.

The variety of puzzles keeps it from ever feeling repetitive. I like that I can choose a puzzle based on my energy level or mood. Some days I want a breezy win, and other days I’m ready to sit down and really test myself. It’s the kind of book that works equally well for casual puzzlers and anyone who enjoys a good mental challenge.

For my friends who love stationary products: I’ve used a PaperMate InkJoy pen, a LePen (Japan), and a Sharpie gel highlighter in this book. The pages hold up great. There is no bleeding through. I love how the different colors make the puzzles look neat and organized. The Sharpie gel highlighter is especially fun for highlighting the words without smearing.

Overall, it’s a solid mix of relaxing, stimulating, and portable, a word search book I’ll keep coming back to. If you love puzzle books, look no further than Hazel Wood’s collection.
