Yes! Is is crazy. I had no idea what a heated topic some could be until I was asked to rethink passages I had selected for upcoming lessons.

Huh, I wouldn’t have guessed To Kill A Mockingbird would be on this list. It’s such a classic! It’s interesting to see which books are challenged. Thanks for sharing this 🙂

I was surprised to see it on here too! There was a few articles floating around last school year (2017-2018) about removing TKAM from the classroom. Blew my mind, a great read.
