The Kid Who Wants to Become and Engineer is an informative children’s book about the potential career paths of an engineer.
Alvin is on a holiday break from school. His family takes a trip to visit his grandparents, while there Alvin realizes he wants to be an engineer like his grandfather.
Alvin’s grandmother and grandfather explain the different types of engineering. By the end of Alvin’s vacation he knows what he wants to do!
The Kid Who Wants to Become and Engineer is a cute way to introduce your kiddo to an informational text. I liked how The Kid Who Wants to Become and Engineer was short yet covered the basics of engineering so a younger reader could understand.
My only complaint is the illustrations are a little cheesy, but that maybe my adult eyes. A child would not think twice about the graphics, the story is engaging enough!
If you’re looking for a short read for younger readers give The Kid Who Wants to Become and Engineer a try~
