5 ebook deals you don’t want to miss

I went digging through the Kindle Deals section looking for a new read. I quickly found many interesting titles and decide I had to limit myself to FIVE books. It is a slippery slope when almost every book is $1.99. I often see fellow reader share the paper books they find, I decided that I would start sharing the ebook deals + ebooks I find. Hoping to bring more of you to the digital side of reading~

Here are the five books I snagged for under $3 a piece.

1. Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Cordova

I have been dying to read this magical book. I look Labyrinth Lost every time I go to the book store. So I am very happy to see it as a deal book!

Summary

The only way to get her family back is to travel to a land in between, as dark as Limbo and as strange as Wonderland..

Alex is a bruja, the most powerful witch in a generation…and she hates magic.

At her Deathday celebration, Alex performs a spell to rid herself of her power. But it backfires. Her whole family vanishes into thin air, leaving her alone with Nova, a brujo boy she’s not sure she can trust, but who may be Alex’s only chance at saving her family.

Labyrinth Lost is $1.99 as an ebook.

2. Huntress by Malinda Lo

I am not familiar with Malinda Lo, but Huntress is a prequel to her novel Ash, which I will definitely be reading.

Summary

Nature is out of balance in the human kingdom. The sun hasn’t shone in years, and crops are failing. Worse yet, strange and hostile creatures have begun to appear. And the people’s survival hangs in the balance.

To solve the crisis, the oracle stones are cast, and Kaede and Taisin, two seventeen-year-old girls, are picked to go on a dangerous and unheard-of journey to Tanlili, the city of the Fairy Queen. Taisin is a sage, thrumming with magic, and Kaede is of the earth, without a speck of the otherworldly. And yet the two girls’ destinies are drawn together during the mission. As members of their party succumb to unearthly attacks and fairy tricks, the two come to rely on each other and even begin to fall in love. But the Kingdom needs only one huntress to save it, and what it takes could tear Kaede and Taisin apart forever.

Huntress is $1.99 as an ebook

3. Aces of Shades by Amanda Foody

The cover is what caught my eye of this read. Aces of Shades is book 1 of 3. Which is an extra treat, it is an exciting day when you find a good deal and a new series.

Summary

Welcome to the City of Sin, where casino families reign, gangs infest the streets…and secrets hide in every shadow.

New Reynes, the so-called City of Sin, is no place for a properly raised young lady. But when her mother goes missing, Enne Salta must leave her finishing school—and her reputation—behind to follow her mother’s trail in the city where no one survives uncorrupted.

Frightened and alone, Enne’s only clue leads her to Levi Glaiyser—a street lord and a con man in desperate need of the compensation Enne offers. Their search sends this unlikely duo through glamorous casinos, illicit cabarets, and into the clutches of a ruthless Mafia donna. But as Levi’s enemies close in on them, a deadly secret from Enne’s past comes to light and she must surrender herself to the City of Sin — to a vicious game of execution…

Where the players never win.

Aces of Shades is $2.99!

4. Before I Let Go by Marieke Nijkamp

Like Aces of Shades, the cover and summary pulled me into this lucky find. Before I share the summary, Before I Let Go is tagged as a mystery, book with bipolar teen characters and asexual characters.

Summary

Best friends Corey and Kyra were inseparable in their tiny snow-covered town of Lost Creek, Alaska. But as Kyra starts to struggle with her bipolar disorder, Corey’s family moves away. Worried about what might happen in her absence, Corey makes Kyra promise that she’ll stay strong during the long, dark winter.

Then, just days before Corey is to visit, Kyra dies. Corey is devastated—and confused, because Kyra said she wouldn’t hurt herself. The entire Lost community speaks in hushed tones, saying Kyra’s death was meant to be. And they push Corey away like she’s a stranger.

The further Corey investigates—and the more questions she asks—the greater her suspicion grows. Lost is keeping secrets—chilling secrets. Can she piece together the truth about Kyra’s death and survive her visit?

Before I Let Go is $1.99!

5. Spellmaker by Charlie N. Holmberg

Spellmaker is book two in the Spellbreaker series. I enjoyed Charlie N. Holmberg’s Paper Magician series, so know I will like the Spellbreaker series. This will not be the first time I have bought book 2 before book 1 because it was on sale. It might be a toxic bookish trait of mine.

Summary

England, 1895. An unsolved series of magician murders and opus thefts isn’t a puzzle to Elsie Camden. But to reveal a master spellcaster as the culprit means incriminating herself as an unregistered spellbreaker. When Elsie refuses to join forces with the charming assassin, her secret is exposed, she’s thrown in jail, and the murderer disappears. But Elsie’s hope hasn’t vanished.

Through a twist of luck, the elite magic user Bacchus Kelsey helps Elsie join the lawful, but with a caveat: they must marry to prove their cover story. Forced beneath a magical tutor while her bond with Bacchus grows, Elsie seeks to thwart the plans of England’s most devious criminal—if she can find them.

With hundreds of stolen spells at their disposal, the villain has a plan—and it involves seducing Elsie to the dark side. But even now that her secret is out, Elsie must be careful how she uses the new abilities she’s discovering, or she may play right into the criminal’s hands.

Spellmaker is $1.99

Book one, Spellbreaker is $4.99. Both books are available Kindleunlimated

This ebook haul was a total of $10.95. Today was better than most days I go hunting through the Kindle Deals section. I only looked in the YA section, but I am sure there are good deals in the other sections as well. Good luck out there fellow ebook lovers!
